China sourcing desk: supplier evidence and comparable quotations for modular building projects.
Sourcing process Contact our desk Compare optionsIndependent procurement service
Ramtech Building Systems is the name of this independent China-based sourcing and procurement service. We are not the original brand website, a manufacturer, a factory owner, or an authorized distributor. Our work is to help buyers compare supplier proposals for modular and portable buildings, then coordinate the documents and milestones that make a purchase reviewable.
Each sourcing request begins with a written brief. We separate buyer requirements from supplier assertions so a quotation can be checked before anyone commits to fabrication or freight.
We record the supplier legal identity, production scope, relevant product experience and evidence requested. A screening entry is a starting point, not a certification of every building the supplier offers.
We compare scope, exclusions, steel grade, panel build-up, MEP boundaries, delivery basis and payment milestones on aligned rows. A low headline price may omit foundation interfaces or site sealing.
Where practical, we arrange material or finish samples with the proposed supplier. A sample shows appearance and stated material data; it does not establish a system-level fire rating or local permit acceptance.
Hold points can cover first-unit dimensions, coating records, visible connections, packing marks and release photographs. The buyer agrees the checklist and any independent inspection scope before production.
We track packing lists, commercial documents, drawing revisions and destination-port requirements with the exporter. Customs decisions, import duties and local building approval remain with the responsible parties.
Wind, snow, seismic, fire, energy and accessibility criteria depend on the deployment site. A supplier certificate, ISO 9001 management registration or previous shipment cannot replace the project design review.
Our focus is modular offices, classrooms, site facilities and other occupied prefabricated buildings. Volumetric units can reduce work on the plot but consume transport volume; panelized kits can fit more material in a shipment but require more site alignment. We ask suppliers to show both the factory scope and the field work assumed in their offer.
For envelope choices, we compare EPS, PIR and mineral wool using declared thickness, density, thermal performance and the relevant assembly evidence. We do not call a core fireproof. For structural steel, we request the grade, section system, connection method, corrosion treatment and load basis. Those details help the buyer ask a useful engineering question; they do not turn this procurement desk into the engineer of record.
Registration details, production location and named subcontracted operations are checked against the proposed order.
Mill certificates, coating data and panel declarations are requested where they matter to the specified assembly.
We align sample approval, first-unit review, inspection access and corrective-action ownership before the purchase order.
Supplier capabilities, certifications and project code compliance require documentary verification for each request and destination.
Tell us the use, deployment country, dimensions, quantity and target ship window. We will identify missing criteria before requesting comparable offers.
